Does sparing Royce/Sasquatch/Placide/Hammer do anything?

All I know is that if you spare Oda in that mission where you steal that one girl he will help you in the final mission if you choose for her to help you. Does sparing those three do anything?

yes it affects the story....but I'll not spoil which of them actually do or how they do it....

At bare minimum, it makes a difference to the narrative you're crafting. Feedback from the game isn't all the matters. Sometimes, it's enough to know that your V is a merciful soul.
