So Panam VS Judy... (Spoilers)
Hello all,

So this may just be my opinion, and I'm sure in many other cases it's true... But Panam feels very "Off-Putting".

I've just made it the point where I'm starting to learn about her, do some missions with her, etc, etc. She doesn't really seem to be bothered by much, and is more open minded to say the least than anyone I've met in the game. Which isn't bad, it's kind of just how it presents itself.

Judy goes through an entire story about her, and Evylen, and even how she dated some people, and or had crushes on people before who were essentially "Dolls". I'm getting at she had a real reason to act the way she does.

The first mission in which I help Panam, you straight up get the option to flirt with her, and she's actually entirely open to the idea of certain things. It might be the alcohol, but come on.. after 2 beer's, NO ONE is "Buzzed" in the slightest, yet after her first two, she's just straight up ready to ride you.

I might not be far enough, and I can sympathize with her a little bit, but after Judy's story, even though I've heard she was a ♥♥♥♥/Lesbian, or whatever, I actually felt like I'm more connected with her character than I ever am with Panam. Again not far enough into her story, but I feel she won't have the same emotion/feelings as Judy did/does. This could be because I'm a very unstable person myself, and I can really relate to Judy in certain ways, I dunno though... People say they forget about Judy moving onto Panam, I just honestly cannot see any feeling in this.

The tattoo's/Punk/tech Sauvy, are a pretty big win in Judy's Defense.

Judy is the best for sure. Great character that almost feels completely believable as a person. I lowkey wish there was an option to romance her since shes one of the few characters I actually really like, but alas, her story ending was better for her so... I can support it

Panam is... Really rough. Good friend to have, sure, but I dunno, theres something off about her character imo

Lol it's not like she was badly written or anything.... But her "Open Mindedness" just seems a bit much....

She shouldn't be ready to get in bed with you after 2 beers LOL.

Again I've only done her intro, so I can't say a whole lot about her. But from start to end, or at least where I am, even knowing as a "Male Char" I'll never get Judy.... I still want to help her as much as I possibly can.

That kind of effect on characters is what really sells it. I still want to "Believe" I can make her mine, yet knowing I can't.... But I still want to help her.

I could only flirt with panam and she shot me down, quite gracefully at that, props to the writing on that one, but least to me her being open to sleep with someone as a no comittment thing doesn't come across as weird somehow. Granted she's also the male V love interest, so maybe I'm missing context since I haven't seen where that flirting goes. But somehow she strikes as the kind of person who wouldn't mind casual sex, even with a stranger. (granted you did help her out big time)

It's actually the exact opposite. She doesn't open up to people. Backs off when it gets too close.

As I remember the first mission she rolls her eyes at you after dropping the frustrations with her situation with Rogue. And after that mission she refuses you once you try getting touchy-feely.

i dunno, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a tank was pretty hot. I had to pause the game and *ahem*....tend to a few things...

Then again, i was dead set on slipping my meatstick into her gape. Not ashamed that i went back and redid a few conversations with Panem. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ V is thirsty around her....

That said, i got the feeling from Judy that her heart was way too broken about Evelyn to really be looking for any sort of relationship. for what its worth, i thought she was bi

Will say though, Judy is exceptional, not finished her story arc but I liked her from the moment you met her and she feels human enough that I sometimes forget she's just an NPC. Props to the voice actress too.

Panam's sex scene is totally worth it. Don't know about Judy's. There are other romance options in the game, they're just not thrown at you from the start like those two, and you have to do more than just the main missions to find them.
Dark Exile Dec 14, 2020 @ 7:28pm
To romance judy you have to be a girl lol, and panam is only into guys so.

In saying that Yeah judy is a far better character overall, and her voice actor is really good at doing emotional crap, panam just seems to have angry and slightly pissed as far as i can tell, i wont spoil the post credits vid calls but suffice it to say thats where the difference in their actors really shows

Nah, I still liked Panam Palmer more. I like when girls have some fire in them. And she straight up threatens Johnny in his ending, saying she'll rip V out of him, if you let him take over your body . She's a keeper, lol.

(I am also quite sure you have to do a bunch of missions with her before she even considers sleeping with you?)

Don't really see Judy as a relationship material tbh. For me (or at least my current V) she was the best as a loyal and caring friend instead. And I've been around enough "unstable" girlfriends in real life to know that the baggage they carry is sometimes just not worth it.

I'll probably give her a try when I roll a female V at some point, but I doubt she'll change my opinion on Panam either.

Panam is a total badass. All her plans in those missions are top notch. Wish she could stick around more to counter weight Goto's meat head.
Judy is a hypocrite cringe. But it is fine since Judy is a lesbian.

They're both pretty cool characters honestly. The companions/NPCs you tag along with are really the highlight of this game for me. Makes the rest easier to chew.

I see someone actually played the game. You need to play 3 missions before she even opens up. 4 (or five?) for weird stuff in the basilisk.

Playing as a male V I did manage to catch a riiiiiiide with Panam in my playthrough. I didn't think she was eager for getting the meat; however, V certainly was eager to lay the pipe. I think Judy was a good character not that I ever got an opportunity to romance her. The side quest chain for her bugged out on me when I had to visit her apartment.
