Is there autopilot in cars?
So cars come to you in autopilot, delamain is a taxi service that works in a mission.

But for some reason my car cant take me to my objective.

Am i missing something? Kinda annoying to use fast travel points when there are autopilot cars.

Yes, It really sucks. There is no autopilot for the player in the game.

It teleport to your location when further away and then drives up to you. Or else the AI can't pathfind to your location. It's likely it just can't make it work because the pathfinding is broken and send you into dead ends

If only they made Delamain cabs a functioning gameplay in the game instead of a chain quest :VGRUMPY:

Tesla fell during the collapse.

Refused to play ball with the EEC and hedged all their bets on the Gang of Four.

There was no autopilot in GTA 5 at the start. But it was added by mods later.
There is a hope that they will do the same here. There is a desire to leisurely admire the beautiful city through the car window. Without crazy races.

it really does seem odd there isn't autopilot. unless they manually setup small routes in every little place for cars to take, it seems like the system must already be in place for cars to path around right?

side note: it's so weird there aren't any EV's at all (as far as i've seen anyway)

There are quite a lot of NPCs driving you around in quests that is pretty cool and adds tons to the atmosphere of the game. Always take the ride when they offer it.

yes there was, if you use a taxi it will drive wherever you ask them, like in gta 4. its not tesla autopilot with your car, but there was a way to just sit back and go to your destination without a teleport loading screen

Imagine this, you have cars, you have a car with autopilot, with artificial intelligence, and what ? And nothing, and yes, you have to drive yourself, because the artificial intelligence, is not an artificial intelligence, and this supposedly unique car, it doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about you, this kind of game sucks, it doesn't attract players, it drives them away, with a cab it's like that, you have to pay, and with your own car, then you have to drive and hope that you don't damage your car, it's different when you have autopilot, it's 2077 there is a huge progress, and still the game sucks, because it has so many bugs that sometimes it's annoying, and autopilot is one such just a serious bug in the game :47_thumb_down::pfff:

the game is barebone outside the story. Do the story and move on

One of the things I find strange is all the muscle cars roaring around, by 2077 almost all cars will be electric, and gas cars will be antiques that have to go to special places to get gas.

The AMM mod adds this to a degree, in that you can spawn an NPC, and then target your car and assign the NPC to take the drivers seat and for V to take the passenger seat. Once that's done, you'll get a message telling you to select a quick-travel point when you enter the car in the passenger seat, and the NPC will drive you there.

There are some bugs with it though, namely that it only works well if you select a destination (a quicktravel point) that has street access. There are however several, including all the Ncart stations, that do not. If you select one of those as your destination, things get a wee bit buggy..

Oddly, CP2077 uses the same programming for driving and chases as Witcher 3 riding and chases. There is auto riding in Witcher 3, so you'd think it would be in this game.
I'm very anxious to see what Phantom Liberty adds to the driving physics.

Cheers all
