Honestly I am surprised CDPR is not being sued for false advertising, since 90% of the people that bought the game purchased it under the impression and advertisement that it would be an adult game (With an optional Nude filter for those who were not interested in nudity).

there is also the fact that an AO rating would severally limit what platforms will host the game, and that in several countries (including austraila) there are very strict guidlines on what games are allowed, I mean how long did it take for gta 5 to not get a restricted rating.

Quite a necro? All the adult adverts are still in the game as they were on Day 1. Only thing which changed was the underwear being added, and there's very popular mods on Nexus which can remove it again. Of all the things to want to necro from 10 months ago...

That's the character creator though and V specific stuff. Aside from Joytoys and a couple of scenes, there's only partial nudity in this game.

Unless you use a mod of course.

Come on dude, that's not even remotely the equivalent of a game with nudity. in the context that the OP writes about. The game has just enough nudity to justify a nudity tag, that's it and before you go there, partial nudity only equates a partial nudity tag.

Sony wanted the exact game that was on PCs. So yes major censorship had to be enforced.

There is nudity in game, usually what you would find in a rated R movie. I mean exactly how much nudity are you looking for? Like Alicesky pointed out, at a certain point the content would be flagged as AO and wouldn't be allowed in certain markets/certain consoles. Granted places like steam have a more lax policy on this kind of content now but there are still regional considerations.

Believe me, I'm not debating it and there's always the NPCs' gone wild mod if more nudity is wanted. Honestly, I'd say that the amount of full nudity is about right for a mature game.
