Is there any difference between lethal or non lethal?
Since there is no karma, and havent seen any punishment like in dishonored.

Whats the point of choosing kill or non lethal?

Why would i use the mod that makes my weapons non lethal?

role play i guess. maybe YOUR v isn't big on killing people whose just doing their jobs. and this bullet says non lethal. so obviously it is good for the environment.

None that i have noticed, stealth/non lethal doest not provide any bonus.
Was hoping for a system similar to DEUS EX, with lethal/stealth.

Guns blazing kill all or Stealth non lethal. There's no difference. Nothing changed for me so far

Some missions you aren't allowed to kill so there is that. But yeah otherwise it's just up to personal preference how you want to play the game. I don't like shooting that much, but I like doing stealth in every mission and not killing anyone. It's fun playing around with all the hacking and stuff to either just sneak past people entirely or take them out (in a non-lethal way) one by one.

Although it's a bit weird but also funny that when 2 NPC are having a conversation and you are grappling one, he will continue the conversation while in your chokehold and when you choke him out, the other guy doesn't get alerted. Like seriously, you were mid conversation and don't notice that the other guy isn't there anymore? :)

Some missions say that they want the person taken alive.

But you still get payed even if you kill them, one of the Psychos I killed was described after as "We will help her out now that we caught her" or something along those lines

well if im not mistaken by my own observations you can do a non-leathal takedown from stealth, gain rep and then knife stab the F out of the B and gain even more rep, because you just flatlined someone twice without starting combat
well, tbh i think thats not the intended purpose but theres that

A companion once pointed out that i was completing the mission without firing a shot, i have played most of the game this way up to now and it hasn't done anything else. hopefully it will influence the ending like in Dishonored otherwise that's too bad.

Btw if you are playing stealth, it seems that only non-lethal takedowns increase the stealth level, sneaking past enemies gives you NOTHING wich is a huge bummer.

I had to install a mod on my weapon to make it non-lethal because I botched a quest and killed someone that I wasn't supposed to. I really wanted that reward, too.

Big mistake.

Next boss fight I made sure that I got the capture and not the kill.

I recently had a very difficult fight at the end of the "investigate the ritual" quest. It was actually pretty creepy too. Unfortunatly for me I am playing a Tech / Hacking focused V. This one target used Mantis blades and kept rushing me. I had to retry the fight like 10 times and had to switch to a high damage shotgun for most of it. I did the "non lethal" bit by using the quickhack that dealt non lethal damage.

Regina will pay you more for using non-lethal damage to takedown psychos. It's mostly mission-specific. There are some missions that require you to subdue an enemy without killing them so you can kidnap them, etc. Functionally, "killing" someone with lethal or non-lethal is exactly the same, though.

Also, make sure if you use the non-lethal mod, Pax i believe, that the weapon only does physical damage. Anything with electric, poison, etc, can still kill them with the proc.
