Combat unnecessarily difficult?
Why does it feel like it takes 2 to 3 mags just to kill an enemy? Am I not advancing in the right ways, not utilizing the hacking the correct way? Does anyone have any tips to make combat not so strenuous?

Go for head shots, and use hacking. Lowering the difficulty might help too.

Pretty much.

RPGs tend to have bullet spongey enemies. It's just the nature of it.

Find a combat style and try to stick to it (assault, pistol, melee, etc) the combat gets easier at later levels when you have perks. Also keep upgrading you weapon or finding newer, better ones.

Dude I am trash at this game. This quickhack stuff is going right over my head. How can I use it in combat

Once you start unlocking the gun related perks it gets easier.

Bro I am playing on Very Hard and find the combat exciting and not that difficult. Although I often take advantage of some hacking before going in.

I am constantly finding more powerful weapons. I just die so quickly and my weapons seemingly do nothing in terms of damage except snipers.

Get some good quickhacks on your deck that would be useful in the middle of combat, there are different quickhacks for stealth, control, or combat.

get a revolver and skill handguns. your damage will be through the roof in no time. all the +%, crit and headshot multipliers will allow you to do several thousands of damage with a 80 dmg pistol. the scaling is ridiculously insane. not sure if they actually tested it

CDPR stated that early in the game, enemies would seem like bullet sponges due to the way the progression system works. Once you get some perks and some levels, it will taper off I am sure.

Help me, I am on normal and die so quickly whilst wielding weapons that barley do any damage whatsoever, except snipers. What can I hack that will assist me in combat??? All I get is distract enemy and that breach ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ whatever

With the huge marketing, the game is bound to attract a lot of folks that didn't think this will have rpg elements. You could try easy not sure if it's still bullet spongy there.
