How much storage space is needed exactly?
According to Steam, I needed ~61GB of free space.
Before I started downloading, I had 80GB of free space.

After installing 30GB, I have 100MB space left. Something doesn't add up here...

It`s currently taking 64 GB for me installed.

dunno but it takes up exactly 62gb physical space.

that said, you shouldn't be leaving such little free space left on a hard drive, especially if it's an ssd.

The install is doing that. I was not expecting double the space needed to begin with... something clearly went wrong with the install. I'll start over :(

(btw my ssd has a total capacity of 232gb, Samsung Magician makes sure there is enough space at all times I believe. hurray for brand ssd's)

edit: Starting over with 102gb free space, 62.67gb needed... let's see what happens

It's doing it again.. it pre-allocates the space required and then starts downloading the same amount again... why?!

you don't have enough space or something, maybe steam is showing 60gb requires but it needs 100gb+ for allocation/buffer/cache.

With all the patches the game currently needs just over 100 gb the base game itself is about

with the amount of massive bugs the game still has expect more GB needing to be used
in fact its starting to get to the point that ive decided to uninstall / reinstall onto a differnt drive with more memory i had 150 gb free on the one i was using but with all the patches taking more and more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ space.

in short SSD Users might be having issues with memory i use Hard Drives so i have 2 differnt large Holding machines i dont mind the slower DL Speed.
its called time to go make me breakfast and have something to eat.

Meh... running this game from HDD is no option for me, with all the hardware requirements it already has. Guess I'll refund

Sitting at 62.6gb (physical) but they will likely change with patches and dlc in the future.

there is a slow hdd option in-game.
