Unfortunately modern slang used in the real world today include but are not limited to; "Totes" (Totally), Shook (shocked), Hundo P (100 percent), and Biz as well. We're all likely familiar with Salty, Savage, and Low-key as well. As annoying as they can get, they are part of the world and I for one would love to stop hearing many of them, but that won't happen as slang is decided by the many, not the few. What a beautiful world language could be if everyone always everywhere spoke proper language.

It's also worth noting that many if not most of these terms were taken from the source material (Cyberpunk TTRPG); Choom, Eddies, etc.

Well, 2077-speak notwithstanding, I really would've liked for V to be more... well-spoken... I chose the Corpo life path thinking of a more elite-arrogant character to play as, but instead I get someone who swears like a sailor and acts as if talking to lowlifes is utterly normal. I dunno, just seems like V was meant to be more of a street kid character than a Corpo from the beginning. Things like eddies, deets, etc. sound much more acceptable coming from a street kid than an Arasaka corp employee. Maybe I just had the wrong expectations i suppose.

Game is based on a pen and paper RPG from the 1980s, where this slang is commonplace in the genre. I mean Shadowrun has it ("chummer", "decker", "Mr. Johnson".) Deus Ex has it ("aug", "cog", "hanzer") Blade Runner has it ("skin job", "spinner", "retired"), Neuromancer has it ("derm", "trodes", "construct"), I could go on. You're free to find it annoying but I have to ask if you've ever experienced the cyberpunk genre in any form before? This is par for the course and comes with the terriroty.

Every culture has their stupid slangs. Only thing that annoys me that i often don't know what that slang means so the dialogue feels a bit confusing to follow sometimes.
