Beside one crash, and need to verify files to fix loading screen bug its working for me just fine. 50-60 fps on "medium" (turned off some gpu heavy ♥♥♥♥ that barely makes difference, there are youtube guides).
Optimalization and those bugs are not ideal, but im acutally suprised how well it is working. If the story wasnt good and gameplay such blast for me i guess i would refund, but its worth to way for some fixes.
I don't think these high dollar 'junk' items are necessary for future quests. At least, haven't read or heard differently. But yeah, sell them; re-spec to avoid junking them. I've come across several dozen of those high dollar junk items so it can add up nicely. ;)
The glitches are more frequent than expected from a "AAA" game, but nothing so extreme that it's game breaking or rage-inducing; at least not for me, but I tend to be more forgiving than most in that sense.
Granted, the more I play, my opinion may change. I'm not too far along...roughly 12 hours?
My specs: 9900K @ 5.2 Ghz; 2070 Super (factory OC); 32 gb DDR4 @ 3200 Mhz; installed on a 1 TB m.2 NVMe SSD. Playing @ 1440p
I'm reading a lot of reviewers trying to play Cyberpunk with 1060 GPU's and 5+ year old CPU's (or worse) and I can't help but think, "What did you expect?" At the same time, the game certainly needs work & optimization; but I'm wondering with the addition of DLSS and ray-tracing in the game, if that somehow limits the ability for lower end systems entirely (even though those options can be turned off, perhaps it still impacts performance)? Maybe there's only so much "optimization" to be done? I dunno....I'm getting into a subject beyond my expertise.
Anyhoo, glad you're enjoying XIII.
I have that skill....750 eddies won't even get me out of bed in the morning; I can easily make 100K in the span of an hour so 750 is pocket change. Seriously...sell your consumables tab every once in a while and you might be surprised that the amount of "coffee" you find on a walk around the block will easily outstrip that single item worth 750. Last time I did this it earned me some 17K
I'm looking into this more and testing it out:
https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/kcka6t/unlock_your_cyberpunk_2077_memory_pool_budget/
IF the above is true, then the minimum requirements as stated may be 100% accurate.
Will confirm when I can.
Hasn't been the first time spec mins/recs were off....ugh.
I've tried a few things - including the memory pool in link - and didn't see any improvement. Changed various in-game settings, but didn't seem to increase performance either.
As it is now, I can play it just fine (mostly Medium, a few High, and a few Low or Off). I would like to get 100 frames at least, but I don't think that's possible. Another thing that's helping me (at least I assume) is that my monitor is G-Sync, but not everyone has one of those.
So whatever is causing the GPU to not run as expected is likely keeping me from gaining above my average 70 frames. I imagine I could easily hit 100 frames if I could figure that out, but I really don't want to spend hours testing and testing.....ugh...
