Samurai Band Merch Store no longer there?

So does the Samurai Storekeep disappear after the first encounter? Does that mean i lost the opportunity to buy the Samurai gear?

Either a bug or the game is just badly designed so that he never turns up again after that mission is over.

He never returned for me.

I wanted to buy several of the items since they were really nice but I was saving my cash to pay back the ripper debt so I figured I'd come back.

And he's not there :(

He sold an orange-quality item with 4 mod sockets - but after I finished the dialogue he had no option for trading; and so I missed the shot. :-(

You did Gigs/Side Missions. You'll find better...pretty fast.

I'm not really a Min/Max player, i probably wont swap to the new gear, but just upgrade my current stuff. i have not had any issues so far.

With 18.4 armor, 15% Crit Chance, +30% Crit Damage, and the Deadeye mod.
I'll get by without those higher stats for headgear at least. I think I bought the hat from that guy actually.
