How do I put my gun away? [ SOLVED ]

How do I put my gun away? And my hands? I either walk around with my hands up or my gun up, its annoying.

Hey, you just hold ALT, select the option with the line through it, and V will put it away. :)

I did check the settings. Didn't say anything about completely holstering it.

No one should have had to, it should be apparent at all times on the screen. I actually didn't know you could put your weapon away till I saw this post, now I know why NC's finest keep attacking me for no reason.

Did you skip the tutorial mission? It told you how to holster your weapon while doing the tutorial. I had a information window that popped up and told me to double tap ALT to holster weapon.

I did the tutorial mission as well but can't remember it telling me to holster it.

Considering there seem to be quite a few people that aren't aware of how to do it, it's the game that failed to properly point out how to actually do it, otherwise there wouldn't be so many wondering about the same thing.

That being said, what is your problem? You enter this topic to tell others that they failed to learn how to do it by themselves or attending the tutorial, this isn't constructive at all and does not contribute anything to this thread.

If you don't like people asking, just ignore the topic and move on with your life.

What is my problem? I want you to really read my reply and tell me how I was being hostile/aggressive towards anyone? I was just asking a question and then stating how it happened for me.

I think you need a second to step away from your PC and take a break..

Of course, I knew from looking through my keybinds before ever launching in, but I always look at all the settings before starting.
