I downloade the update, which was 1.4Gb, while it was installing, it slowly took up more than 58Gb of additional space. When it was done, the game was down to 57Gb, reduced from 62.8Gb...and it turned out the update corrupted 37 files, and I had to redownload the entire game again...
Strange thing is, while downloading, 62.8Gb is reserved, but the hard drive space keeps filling up past that any way, and with no extra files in the steam folder...i have to pause the download in between, restart the pc, then the space goes back to normal..This has not happened to any other game i own on steam...just cyberpunk
it sucks though, cos this is the only game that I have on steam that does this, like taking up essentially double the space during updates/installation/downloads...If this is going to be the case for all future updates, I may have to install on my HDD temporarily (Saving for big upgrade for summer 2021).
