Activities :(
why there is no more minigames/activities to enjoy ?

Pool
mahjong
Stripclub pay dancers or have sex
Play arcade machines minigame
Blackjack
Poker

i won't list unlimited activities, but you get the idea. If Night City is so important make more stuff to do there. I am bored killing random gang members from 1 spot to another, i want to take a break and play some minigame and do highscore.

maybe in DLC
Did they even both adding a gwent type mini game or no? Also can any of these doors on the buildings actually be opened or are these massive buildings just smoke and mirrors?

Yakuza series really nails a small dense living world, it can be had for very little, start with Zero. For me, I wish they had tasked writers to flesh out a bunch of flavor conversations with the people in the cities. The one thing that really breaks immersion are the one line responses from everyone except story characters. It reminds you the living city just looks that way, that the 'people' are just props.

As far as a know you can do one of those things. If you go to the lips icon on your map you can have sex with whatever prostitutes are there

while i agree it ruins a bit of the immersion, there are some conversations you can run into just walking around random areas, but the moment you talk to people they give you a couple words or tell you to ♥♥♥♥ off

I loved playing Gwent in TW3 and poker/blackjack in RDR2. Despite being mini-games neither world would be as compelling without them.

Pretty much agree on this. I see some arcade games and pachinko machines in store yet I can't interact with them. The city just looks visually good but nothing much to do.

dude i was hooked on Gwent in witcher 3 i was hunting for full collection of cards :D some battles were annoying but i got them all eventually

They told us that nightcity was alive. Instead we got a big city with nothing to do, and a lot of zombie-like NPCs. Really disappointing.

I do think some minigames and side activities would've been a very good idea. Players usually look for them when they want to take a break from missions to break up the gameplay a little, they don't bother players with no interest in them either (so long as they don't pop up in quests). It also makes the city feel empty, even if you never use them knowing they're there helps the world feel alive, a place you could interact with.

I def thought they'd be some minigame running through it at a minimum because of gwents success. I'm genuinely surprised CD didn't put any minigames or side activities in. Games like this usually do GTA, RDR, Sleeping dogs, Yakuza, Final Fantasy etc. It's a bit of a weird decision tbh.

As it is reminds me a little of Mafia 3, an open world game that doesn't really make use of it's open world.

Indeed... so far it's worse than TW3... rdr2 is not even an rpg but managed to deliver a lot more immersion... you could go to watch movies...as useless as it can be, these are details... playing poker? a sort of gwent? More interactions would have also been nice... There were much more choices and things to do in fallout 2. Yes i said fallout 2.

i wrote support ticket to CDPR and asked if they consider adding more minigames in future expansions and DLC

why not ? GTA has minigames, Yakuza has minigames, RDR2 has minigames, Final Fantasy has minigames, Witcher 3 had minigames, Assassin creed had minigames. If you don't want them dont play them , but let others do that.
if you want mini games, buy and play games that advertise mini games? I'd rather development time be spent on something else than mahjong
bro you literally get a mission in a pachinko parlor yet you can't use any machines there, that's super lame, this is a an overpopulated city that the whole planet is in love with in yet all you can do in it when not in a mission is buy stuff and kill gangsters
