My guns shoot automatically the moment I equip them?

I have equiped 3 weapons. Pistol, assault rifle and a shotgun. I can only walk around with the shotgun, but the moment I turn to a pistol or rifle, my character keeps on auto-shooting his guns non-stop. And it's not because the shotgun isn't loaded, it is and it works as intended. But any other guns fire automatically beyond my control.

It seems your guns have become sentient and self aware. They now only seek to destroy all who come in their line of site. "I am weapon and therefore I must kill".

I had this happen to me once as well. In my case, it occured when I directly equiped a weapon from dropped loot rather than equip the item in the menu.

I reloaded a save and it fixed for me.

I had this happen to me to 2 times seams very random when it happens.

Happened to me once. I was being stealthy in the middle of a large crowd with a lot of enemies and no quick way to escape. It spooked me too when it happened lol.
