Maybe you'll have better luck than me, but I've been trying to run it on 1440p with med to low settings and I get 40fps if I'm lucky and it's not uncommon for it to drop to the 20s.
Some claimed they could barely run 30 on 1080 high yet there are others that claimed they could run 4k ultra @ steady 30.
There must be som realy pore optimalisation with this game. I am running all low at 1440p with a 1080 and getting avrage 50fps
I suppose I don't need to mention anything about getting the latest drivers as NVIDIA and CDPR keep emphasising?
If there are no signs of improvement with driver updates I think I'll give it a miss until I get a new card. Or if good old 1080p can yield better fps I might consider getting it before upgrading the card.
People have to realize that there is a difference between poor optimization and a game that is simply dempanding ...
This game has really good graphics for an open world game - therefore it is really demanding.
Just because a game is demanding doesnt mean its poorly optimized.
Also 1080 was a nice card - years ago - and it still is - but not at resolutions >1080p.
quite true, there is a LOT going on visually.
