Should I pay Vik back immediately?
Is there a time limit on when I can pay Vik the 10k eddies? or can I just pay him whenever I want?
I have the money but I feel like I could use it for upgrades right now.

I don’t know if it effects anything later on but I paid him back and he said I should have kept the money. I don’t know if it really matters until my second play through

i'd rather pay, i don't like to have debts

Vik is a good guy, pay the man!

No idea if it has real impact, haven't played twice yet, but I did, and I regret nothing.

Just spend the time doing side quests and leave the main story missions for now. You should get more then enough eddies for your upgrades and to pay Vik :)

Pay Vik back when you can. He offered to let me keep the money but I refused and told him to keep it because he's a good friend and deserves it.

prolly not, also how did you get only 10K? Bastard charged me 21...

But I found that hunting wanted guys fills your pockets real fast after you loot them and sell their scrap. And you can shoot them in a face with full-auto rifle in a middle of a crowd and in front of police too... convenient.

How? I see wanted guys, kill them, no bounty and cops show up and start shooting at me...

... strange, donno. I just see some guys that scanner showed as wanted. Sometimes they start shooting when you are close, sometimes you can just walk to them and shoot in their face.

police never had troubles with it. I even helped them shooting some guys when I saw them fighting and they just watched how I finished them off and looted the bodies.

After you pay him back it unlocks his shop so you can buy more stuff off him. So far I haven't noticed any kind of time limit though.
