SUGGESTION: Car Repair Shops
I decided in my game to go around being a vigilante. I looked for crimes and gang or mob related activity, then went in and killed everyone and took their weapons. During one of my raids, I found the gang members had two really sweet cars; nice enough to make me want to try driving again.

I still had to drive pretty slowly to get around, but I found myself enjoying the effort, cruising around in my neon tricked out hot rod... until I stopped to help some police. For whatever reason, after I helped them kill some thugs, one of them began 'alerting' in me in an increasingly rapid fashion. Since I had helped officers kill thugs in the past with no problems, I took him for a thug, and shot him in the face, killing him instantly.

So the police began shooting me and popping into existence all around me (It really is very badly put together; they didn't run up, or drive up, and they weren't there already. They literally spawn out of nothing, shooting.) I leapt into my car, thinking to lose them and hide like the game suggested, then go back to looking for criminals.

By the time I lost them though, my sweet ride was all bashed up, and on fire. And here comes my point.

You can't put out the fire. The car being damaged has NO effect on how it drives. I've been driving the car crashed up and still on fire for hours and nothing has happened. The car still runs fine. The police don't recognize it and give chase. There's literally no purpose in the car being able to appear damaged, since no one notices and it has no affect on how it handles or... anything.

And so... car shops. Places you go to maintain your vehicle. REASONS to maintain your vehicle, like recuded speed and handling when damaged. Vehicle health bars, so if your car is left on fire for several hours, it explodes, or just stops working or something. Something to inject more realism into the concept of driving in this game. If nothing else, at least have it so I can restore the appearance of the car with an item or at the shop so it doesn't look like it's mid Ghost Rider transformation as it cruises down the street.

I think they fixed this issue, as my car is damaged and hardly moves.
