Crosshair Bug
Does anyone else experience the crosshair staying on the screen even if you holster your weapon? Now that I noticed it, it becomes really annoying.

It's even worse than that.

For me it also stays while you ADS, it ♥♥♥♥♥ with my brain, I can't aim like that so I reload a checkpoint.

When I notice it I just quicksave and load again, but it happens so often that it's SUPER annoying..

Do you have smart weapons in any weapon slot? If yes, try changing it to other gun. For me, it fixed it

I have noticed this only happens when you have a smart weapon equipped. When you swap to any smart weapon and back to any other non-smart weapon it briefly fixes it until you do something like using the scanner, then it bugs out again.
When I unequipped all my smart weapons and save/reloaded I never had this issue appear until I any smart weapon back on.
I am currently just avoiding smart weapons completely because of this sadly.

I think its a more common bug then you think ive had that every game along with picking up items missing dialog and having to re talk to npc to get store to come up again

This bug was driving me crazy last night to the point where I reloaded a save and backtracked a lot. I know its purely cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay too much, but it was one of those things like nails on a chalkboard. For me, it does seem to be triggered by smart weapons. If I have one equipped and I am using another weapon while I am scanning or jacking in, the double crosshairs appear, even when I holster my weapon. I have found though if I holster the smart weapon instead of a different one the crosshairs go away. Not sure if this is fool proof yet. I hope it gets patched soon, but it may be a while since the gamebreakers will have priority.

OMG, I'm having the same exact issue. I thought it was intended, but it's a bug because it's so inconsistent.

It's always on, even if I'm adsing and it makes it really difficult to see anything.

Thank you! That did work, but it's now fixed with the latest patch. :)
