Cant progress past the "ripperdoc" quest

So I met with the ripperdoc, he gave me the implants and said I can pay him back layer, but now the quest keeps telling me to talk to him and the only option is to pay him back money I don't have.

what are you supposed to do here?

Go to your quest log and look for the next main story thing, if i remember it should be going back and talking to Jackie at the store front. The quest being highlighted for you about paying Viktor back is a side quest.

You can select a different mission and just go back to him when you have the money, for me it was 21k and I just paid him last night.

I had the same issue. I ended up going to do a gig (kill a target). After that the quest progressed on it's own and Jackie was waiting for me with the chick at the ripper doc.

If you want to finish the quest you need to pay him 21k

Reload the game from the last savepoint, which should be just after you finished the last part of the quest. It's bugged but a reload helps. You don't have to talk to him but actually meet up with jackie, but the quest bugs out somehow unless you reload.

its the ONLY quest in the main story section, just says "talk to viktor" and i can either pay him or ask him how his life is

I just reloaded and it corrected itself.

Need to get 21K first, it's a mission that can be completed later.

No he is talking about the other quest, it can actually bug and instead of telling you to meet Jackie it will ask you to talk to the ripperdoc. Reloading helps though.

Just reload the game, fixed it for me. It's a bug.

Thanks guys proof doing a search works :) got stuck in the talk to viktor loop, now I know just a restart was needed, I had just exited to look for a fix lol :D
