It's literally a lottery, I have a gtx 1080 mini with 8700k. Game runs 60-70fps on all low 1440p
My friend has a 2060 with an 5800X and has constant 30-36fps. It doesn't matter if RTX is on or off

Depends on the resolution. 4k - Don't bother, 2k - Maybe on Low/Medium, 1080p - Medium to High

It won't be a good looking game but if you're willing to do 1080p, all low settings you might get between 40-55 fps, which is playable.

I am using a GTX 1080 with mostly high settings. Moved a few things lower and it is good. The only place I get lower frames are usually in cut scenes and at the mirror.

I'm getting anywhere from 30 to 60 with my 1080 (drivers upgraded, 1080p, medium to high settings). Its playable but its garbage.

Just played a few hours on my laptop (1660Ti GPU and 9750H i7 CPU). Game ran perfectly fine 1080p on medium (RTX off and latest drivers obviously). On high there were some noticeable slowdowns, but nothing problematic.

Given that 1080 GPU is a faster card you should be fine. My recomendation is not to bother with RTX, it is pretty but not worth the performance hit.

Yes, I run 1440p ultra and it never dips below 30fps.
