The only downside is having to either restart Windows or relog into your Windows Account after changing the settings, because it is a registry fix.

Fairly easy to do actually. I do kinda wonder why devs don't implement something as simple as that. It's kinda weird.
It is utterly pathetic that fanbois justify this crap by saying "well you can go edit a file" which presumes everyone is technically competent or smart enough to do so (which many are not), or other who say "go download some mod" which in and of itself should never ever be a requisite for being able to properly play any title.
CD/P/R again with this one, demonstrates just how badly it has dropped the ball.
If you are right-handed and use WSAD great, but guess what you are not everyone. If you count the titles over the last 10 years say, that have not had the ability to properly remap keys, it would be a very very small number.
