Ya It looks a lot better with this stuff disabled.
I actually like the chromatic aberration and lens flares in this game. But that likely has to do with also having an HDR1000 screen and calibrated tone mapping.
The colours and lighting looked horrible out of the box, especially when in a dark space sunny spots would almost bleed out to pure white. Spent a day calibrating the tone mapping and it’s the most gorgeous and lifelike lighting now. No more hard shadows, no loss of detail in blacks or whites, and minimal adaptation effect.
