Brightness setting?
is there one?, some scenes rooms and vehicle cutscenes are so dark because there is no light source, i have to rely on the local dimming feature on my monitor to see peoples faces at all.

It's Contrast probably. And it's in the graphics options, off to the right hand side of the screen. Left lightens it up, right darkens it. Or turn off Ray Tracing. As that is what ray tracing does, depends on existing light sources.

Go to settings and press 'Z' for gamma correction.

Video settings —> left hand side —> Gamma Correction.

Look for simple flashlight on vortex. It's one mod I wouldn't play without...
