If your in combat, or a combat situation,
you're being hacked. If they can see you on a camera or los they can hack you.

Means that an enemy netrunner is hacking your wetware causing you to overheat. Supposedly if you break line of sight or kill the character/camera targeting you, it will stop, but that's not working. Even if you hide or leave the room, you still overheat. It's broken.

Supposedly there is a cyber ability called "I Spy" under the intelligence perk that will highlight the hacker so that you can target him. Haven't tried that yet.

Its the same for both the player and NPCs. I usually start a hack and sprint out of view before the hack has finished. So not sure its a bug.

I think you just need to keep the distance to him. Like when you hack something, it can move away and you still hack it trough the wall. You, just like the other npcs, need to keep distance if hacked.

It's a bug. These hackers do not need line of sight to attack you, long as aggro is pulled they will attack you from entirely different room with constant spam forever with barely any cooldown.

I know this simply cause of my encounter with maelstorm gang. I pulled aggro from the next room without even opening the door and i was being spammed with hack attacks, through the wall.

This makes combat at times REALLY annoying as i play on hard difficulty.
