Is there a way to show Playstation buttons mapping instead of XBOX?

I grew up playing Playstation consoles, and never really got into Xbox (no offense if it's your preference, console people!). As such, my gamepad of choice when playing computer games was the Dualshock.
Cyberpunk is a game with lots of complex actions and I often have to check my buttons on the side of the screen to remember what action my buttons do.
The thing is, I don't have A, B, X or Y. As much as I could "just memorize and adapt", I'd much rather have the option to change my buttons mapping to Playstation instead of Xbox, like many games already do. Is there a way to do that with Cyberpunk?
I tried checking the options but I didn't find anything.

Its a glitch. my fiancé is playing on a pc right next to me and it shows ps4 buttons while mine shows xbox

I found a way. Here's how you do it:

Open the Steam Big Picture. Go to the controller configuration. uncheck every box with the Playstation configuration support and don't open Big Picture again so you don't have to uncheck this box every time.

After that:

Right click Cyberpunk 2077 in Library
Properties
General Tab > near bottom
*Steam input Per-game setting
> Forced Off

That's it.

For most games it defaults and only has Xbox so the best option is white tape and write the letters on it to cover the PS letters. I also have color coded them so it's easier to figure out. Might not be the best solution, but it works without reprogramming things or recreating things.

So I know this might be a shock, but not everyone likes the Xbox controller. Myself, I have several PS4 and PS5 controllers. I do not want to spend more money on another controller.

The only reason I'm using a DualSense Edge is because my two Xbox Elite controllers (original and 2) failed sooner than I would have expected. The Edge is the first DS to have the underside paddles like the Elites've had for years. I use them for thumb clicks (as thumb clicks hurt my thumbs) and, in one case, weird controls. (I'm looking at you RDR2 select/quickdraw = LT/RT.)

However without a PS5, the underside paddles aren't mappable without the Steam Overlay (which makes the app think it's Xinput).

Steam Overlay also works on non-Steam games in the Library with a better and cleaner interface than DS4Win.

We'll see if the DS lasts longer than the two Xbox controllers I've had, but thanks to the mapping needs, it'll be Xinput emulation for me. *shrug*

Sorry for your situation, friend. I think back when I posted this thread, PS5 wasn't a thing. Here's to hoping you find a solution.

I retired my xbox 360 controller when windows 10 made it so that the third party dongle wouldnt run properly without turning off driver signing.

No other reason than greed :/.
