Delay in Crouch: Feature or Bug?

I've found Crouch quite annoying to use. At first I thought it was not responding, I kept holding it, then just tapping and it looked like it was doing nothing. Then I noticed if you wait, V ends up crouching and kinda "got it". However, it is not only a delayed action, but sometimes you just press it for too long or not long enough and it doesn't even perform the action.

I wonder what your thoughts are, and whether it's some oddly intended behavior or something's just not working.

same here, it's really annoying, taping not works, I've found out you have to hold it like 0.5 second to crouch toggle works

Press c to toggle crouch "stealth," otherwise control is your push-to-hold button. The only issue i've been having with it is why is it the same button to skip dialogue, same as to why is f the same button to interact/pick up and pick dialogue. Keep having situations where im trying to do one thing and someone starts talking and i just skip over it or dont get to see the options.

I've always thought the pneumatic high-speed, ultra fast crouch/uncrouch was a bit...silly. Given there is a moderate delay, makes it seem more normal.

Perhaps if you get enhanced legware, it could behave differently?

I rebound my keys, and the toggle-to-coruch button works as in most games for me by tapping. (i use right ctrl for it, as i play with the arrowkeys)
