Update patch is stuck in download mode

I've just woke up trying to install a patch it's just stuck at 57.4gb. I don't know what to do

Okay, the official Steam twitter made a statement about this issue. Basically, it's a display problem. It occures with people who pre-loaded the game. The game indeen unpacks the files from 57.4 gb of data. All we can do is wait for the game to unpack. Restarting Steam, changing dowload regions, nothing will help.

This go look at your depotcashe you will see files in here that are slowly disappearing.

This is steam unpacking these files the download will resume after all 118 files are unpacked.

if the disk usage is over 1 mbps just wait. Trust me, if it's been almost 30min it will be fine in 10 minutes or so.

Right click on your Cyberpunk 2077 in steam library -> Properties -> DLC Tab -> UNCHECK DLC

This will start to Unpack your Main Game (57.4 gigs). Once it's done you can go back and check the DLC and it'll do the rest of the 2 gigs and you are done.

Don't blame the DEVS, it's a Valve (Steam) issue.

I was just about to do the DLC uncheck option to force the download to continue however suddenly it resumed again - I was probably sat for 40 minutes at 57.4gb! Steam's decrypting and unpacking process may be stone age and slow on old drives but I think this issue is more of an architecture problem.
