no steam overlay (windows 7)

launch from steam, obviously. i got mine working, i bought the game from GOG too.

i see the overlay attaching to the launcher, but not the game itself.

Yeah it doesn't work on thegame itself, for me but I see the overlay on the launcher.

Only got the game on GOG, but added the GOG client and the game manually to the Steam library. Launched the client from there and the game from the GOG client.
Steam Overlay then works for me.

Perhaps you can launch it from steam? Go to your library and look on the bottom and you'll see add game, and then click add a non steam game and pick your game from the listed and then click play.

yes, the problem is not getting the game to run.
the problem is the steam overlay is broken with this game for me.

Offffff its not gog launcher. Its Red launcher. And you dont have Steam overly because you have mingled with the game files and have made it run as administrator.

It seems to be OS specific, this problem... Windows 10 is what breaks it for a lot of people.

Try in borderless window. I'm on win 10 and it works.

Never been in any mode other than that; Steam overlay still doesn't work.
