White flashing??

Is anyone else experiencing a random white flash while playing this game? It happens every 5-20 seconds. it made me have to stop playing because it was so distracting. The weird thing is that it didn't start happening until I got past the first hour of gameplay.

Having the same issue. When you record it and watch it frame by frame you can see the flashing happens "in the world" and doesn't effect the HUD. You can see the flashing here: https://imgur.com/a/jbW8mJo (You have to click the picture for seeing the gif)

Anyone else have the same issue? Driver updates didn't help, and like most others i started getting this issue since your first visit to the ripperdoc with Jackie. I also have Gsync, but i don't think thats the issue. If gsync was the problem why i didn't have any white flashes first 4-5h of gameplay.

Try different DLSS setting, cured it for me

putting dlss on balanced fixed it for me, i think it varies per user so i guess play around with different dlss settings

I get it every now and then, but not nearly that often. Mine is maybe every few minutes? I think it has to do with a glitch in distant buildings casting shadows, but that's just a theory.

I don't have this bug but I did just notice something in my gameplay that could explain it. I saw the other guy post a screenshot and what this actually looks like is the flash of light that happens when you exit a dark building and walk out into the sun. Your screen goes white for a moment before revealing the area.

This is 100% not a driver or computer issue, it has something to do with the game thinking you're randomly exiting the darkness and walking into the sun or well lit area. I would think that this could possibly be caused by some shadows glitching out or some other graphical bug that confuses the game's light detection.

100% agree, as I have this identical problem on a PC with an RTX 2070S as well as a PS4 Pro.

White flashing happens to me on my Zotac RTX 2060 SUPER 8gb whenever i have DLSS Set to balanced, but switching to Performance mode, the issue stops.

Combination of g-sync with low framerate in certain areas? Disabling g-sync and upping framerate via DLSS seemed to help some people.

It's lens flares. It finally quit happening when I turned them off.
