Anyone else feels FPS get choppy when moving camera?
Even if FPS counter is stable at 60, the character movement and camera get this choppy feeling from time to time, its weird, I tried playing with fps limit and vsync but no luck.

bump
2080 ti with ryzen 9 16bg ram can't even run at low settings. Getting 40 fps top.
same. i have a 1080 on medium settings and getting 60fps but still feels choppy
This has to do with input settings, specifically the response curve setting.
Go to settings > controls > first person camera (controller) > show advanced options [ON]
set response curve to 'raw'. You should also do this for third person camera.

Thank me later!
Motion blur off?
The game has mouse smoothing on and no clear option to disable it. Set the CONTROLLER options for "response curve" to "raw." It's not a perfect, actual raw mouse input, but even though it's on the controller settings, it does help a lot. Disabling aim assist and snap also helps significantly with the apparent input lag. Here's hoping for an in-game or ini setting to completely disable all forms of smoothing and get raw mouse input soon.

You have better specs than me. I just bought this on PC because for some reason I was getting a 80kbps download speed on my PS4. Hoping it'll still run good and look better. I've got a Ryzen 5 3600x and a nvidia rtx 2060
Yeah same here. It's bogus.
Can't get this game to sit still in terms of framerate to save my life.

Cyberpunk 2077 makes RDR2's port look good in comparison.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, thank you guys.
Did all the fixes you said here and I actually can move my camera now without it lagging my computer to ♥♥♥♥.
Thanks a bunch ^^

EDIT: seems like turning everything shadow related to off or low, and turning on "slow HDD" setting on gameplay tab also helps.

I commented about that bug before, and it seems that the camera stuttering is due to a graphic setting changed in the Nvidia Control panel. I still have yet to found out which exact setting is causing that, but restoring everything to default fixed it for me. If anyone here feels like testing every single setting until finding out exactly which option is causing that, then feel free to do so and share about that. I am too lazy to test them all. lol

Nope smooth, as 165 hz silk it is.
Clean install nvidia driver and GE experience. and disabled nahimic service forever. Runs great for me. (i've caped it at 60fps)
