Did you manage to a solution for unequip clothing?
Uninstalling the Logitech Options fixed it for me.
my solution so far is, use a gamepad for unequipping stuff... other things can be remapped.
uninstalling logitech options is no option (no pun intended) for me.
Lol! Yeah looking around there are reports of it happening on other mouse brands but I havent found a fix/workaround for those
you can adjust the game config directly
Can you paste the line for unequip in config, can't find it.
Playing with Logitech MX Master, unistall Logi software, rebind keys and it works
1. go to Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config
2. open file inputUserMappings.xml
3. find line <mapping name="unequip_item" type="Button" SIEJADependent="true" >
4. add a key you want, in my case ALT key <button id="IK_Alt"/>
5. save file and now you can unequip with ALT
Someone posted he following:
What worked for me:
1. go to Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config
2. open file inputUserMappings.xml
3. find line <mapping name="unequip_item" type="Button" SIEJADependent="true" >
4. add a key you want, in my case ALT key <button id="IK_Alt"/>
5. save file and now you can unequip with ALT
I havent tested it myself but I have fixed the logitech options issue by editing the XML directly for it- So I can keep the app installed and keep my custom settings
Great!
But you have to hold the wheel down for a bit to trigger it. That's for removing weapon mods, weapons, and clothing from their slots.
I had to do the same thing for grenade tossing and it worked initially, but the next day it stopped working again, so I've temporarily made 'B' my grenade button.
I'll try the middle mouse for grenades again later.

Just tried it. it works now.
then I had to reload a save before it would "activate"!
so definitely try reloading a savegame
