Game not using my GPU?
So i've got a
3900XT and a GTX 1070, I know the jump is a little high between them but its tough getting the new cards that i'm waiting for.
Nevertheless, the game runs fine around 60fps, however I've noticed from task manager and my monitoring programs that the cpu is putting in work, but the GPU load is sticking around 2/3% all the time. It's temperature is up like its doing work but it's not showing that it's doing much. It feels like the entire game is running just off my cpu.
Any idea why that might be ?
Or has anyone else ran into this issue at all?

Same Here GTX 1070 Ti 0% and CPU I5-4690K @ 4,3Ghz 98~100%
Tried different settings (windowed mode, fullscreen) and nothing changed.

Yeah I've tried messing with the actual graphical settings to see if its just not being used enough but it hasn't changed anything.

Same thing. CPU is going crazy while my rtx 2080 super is pretty much chilling. Also weird framerates, huge drops with ray-tracing and pretty unstable on ultra without RT, both 1080p
I checked my drivers too and they're are updated with the latest version.

Don't use windows task manager to monitor GPU use. Whatever it shows, it never seems to show actual GPU usage for me.

Use something like GPU-Z and you'll see it's actually > 90%.

My GPU is not even heating up. The fans are in idle (off).

Same for me. Game using just 0 - 0.4% of my GPU. Also working good for my friend (98-99% GPU usage with active game window)

my friend is having the same problem. not using his gpu at all and trying to find a fix

Yeah. I mean I use a third party software which monitors temps and usage anyway, so task manager was just for me to double check. But I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

Count me in on the gpu not being used. I am also getting a ghosting affect when things move quickly. Like when I am driving I can see 3 antennas.

It's good to know it's not just me having this, I was afraid something was wrong with my computer.

Same problem here. 2080 Super, 3900x, I get around 20% - 30% GPU usage though. 71 degrees C, though, so it obviously is doing something. Turning on ray tracing in any capacity SEVERELY drops FPS for me though. Playing in 4k BTW

I have Cyberpunk on GOG. I had similar issue. CPU utilization was around 60%, it looked like it was not using more, no matter what. The thing is, I was trying to find out what was the cause, I was using Afterburner to see how gpu, cpu is being utilized and when I was going into dense crowds GPU would go to maybe 70-90 % and freak out. CPU was capped at 60% not using more. I lowered crowd density from high to low and it suddenly GPU's utilization was stable at 98%. I don't know if it helps anyone but it was weird that this option was not in graphics setting and stayed at high even when using medium preset. I have GTX 1070 and Ryzen 5 1600 and running at around 47-60 fps medium preset and crowd density medium.
same here,3070 with 1600x(overclocked),got 50%cpu and only 50%gpu aswell, only getting 40-50 fps with out rtx under 1080p

I’m experiencing the same, FPS is seemingly locked around 20-25 no matter what, no bottlenecks in my system.
