Black Screen at Startup
Having a black screen at startup but there's sound, just nothing else. Anyone having this issue?
Alt tabbing and changing to windowed mode did nothing...

Same issue with me. I thought my drivers needed updating but they're all up to date.
Can confirm - there's only blackness here.

own it on steam, playing through GoG. same as above black screen. i updated video drivers, and it improved. the sound was initially glitchy, and now the sound just fades and the screen remains black untill i cntrl -alt- del and that atleast snaps me back to desktop

Same. After hitting 'play' in launcher, screen goes black. I start to hear audio, and my mouse cursor vanishes. I hear a voice talking about the daily body count, but the screen stays black.

Ok, I managed to get the black screen out and can see now. I have geforce graphics card so I went directly to the website to get the new driver that came out today and manually downloaded and installed the driver. Now I can see. If it's actually going to let me play and not crash is another story. Hope this helps.

I also have a Geforce card and in my bashing away at it I finally decided to do the same and download the driver again directly from the website. This also worked for me. Glad to see someone beat me to posting it.
