Only 15 hours of main story?

There is a big timeskip between the game prologue that develops V friendship with jackie and the start of the game feels like they cut a lot of content to make the story shorter.

The same reviewers that reviewed witcher 3 the same way, yes. Comparatively speaking, even if you ignore the actual hours.

I didn't watch/see those reviews tbf. I played the game for a solid 80+ hours before beating it.

Seems campaign has 25 to 30 hours and a point of no return indicator but with side quests it can get up to 175 hours. Wonder if completion will change the ending in any way, would be pretty nice if it did.

These are the same people who think Assassin's Creed is a good RPG franchise because the maps are gigantic in size and take 80hrs to beat even though it's full of copy paste content and level grinding.

Exactly. Just chill and have fun. I used to game a lot and find out there are less and less time as i grow up but I kinda enjoy not playing games the whole day and find something else to do. Used to play assassin creed till Origin cause I just don't have the time but I don't feel like I am missing out cause its feels like copy and paste game haha.

I didn't rush at all enjoying my playthrough of my favorite game of all time, Red Dead 2. And the experience seemed the right length of time to me. Does anyone know how long a speed run through Red Dead 2 took?

If you rush through it like a mad man yeah. Yakuza main story isn't that long but i still played 100 hours cause there's plenty of stuff to do.

One of the developers played it for about 150 hours (on a single lifepath) by completing everything in the game, so i suppose main story is more than 15 hours.

There's more "side-quest" than "main-story" missions and content. CDPR games have always been more about the world and how it tells a story, than explaining it directly to the player.
You have to explore and play more than the necessary to understand and enjoy most things about their games.
