Gamespot, PC Gamer REVIEW BOMB Cyberpunk 2077
So Gamespot and PC Gamer both gave the game a 7/10. Not bad, but not great either. What do you think of modern game journalism?

There are literally a hundred other discussions about this. Stop flooding the forum with the same garbage

they reviewed the non launch day game, i.e no day 1 patch, which most likely would fix several issues.

Dont read paid reviews for a start.

Games journalists lost their credibility ages ago. Everything for them is politics and agendas.

7/10 is good. Gamespot's review is real trash though. It complained that it was too Cyberpunk and too RPG. Then complained about corporations hypersexualizing people but also that the story didn't lecture you that corporations hypersexualizing people is bad. Also complained that culture was lost and misrepresented. Imagine complaining about social/cultural decadence in a Cyberpunk themed game. :lunar2019crylaughingpig: Then the reviewer went on to skip a bunch of features and content.

PC Gamer's review is better but short and didn't talk about a lot of things.

Can't wait to find out for myself. :steamhappy:

Just read the review, the lady writing it skipped half of the game.
You can not really review a game if you don't play all of it.
Plus Gamespot got caught redhanded taking bribes to write better/worse reviews, do not trust them.

One or two reviews is not a review bomb and reviews are opinions.

I THINK that journals who give games a low rating are way more reliable and trustworthy than any journal that praises a game over the charts or just writes the usual PR marketing ♥♥♥♥ companies pay them to write.
The biggest disgrace in this category showed TLOUS2. Horrible story but everyone praised it as the game of the year.

HOT TAKE people are allowed not to like things, that you like for any reason they want, and if you like something you should not care what the average review score is, stay strong gamers.

She had concluded to not like the game prior to even playing it in my opinion.

This two are on the my two list of unreliable reviewer since 2 or 3 years. Each times i go see there review just to be amazed how i'm against there review.

When i deeply hate a game, they give it a good score.
