This.
I also have not read anything about the source material.
The closest I ever got to a setting like this was Alita: Battle Angel (minus the creepy giant eyes)
I just got a bit worried from some sides portraying it as "you start up high and wont get to know much from the 'lower class' and clans"
But yeah, you two are probably right

(This is not my channel and I make no excuses for whatever this cat is into otherwise...just some preloading edutainment)
Oh wow, thank you! :)
Imagine the executives in Robocop (1987), Wall Street (1987), American Psycho (2000) and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013). Its a Machiavellian way of life were you make allies while also backstabbing anyone who gets in your way. Everyone is ether a rival or an ends to a means -- those who outlive their usefulness are tossed aside! Your goal in life is not about getting the most money or the most stuff; its all about POWER! Power over the company. Power over government. Power over the people. Power over the economy. Power over lives!
This might sound a little villainous. That's because they are. Cyberpunk was never about playing The Good Guys.
What a poetic description!
thank you, this sounds "nice" to me, now with all those comments i think i'll stick with corpo ^-^
