Playing Corpo without knowing lore

Hello everyone,

i think the corpo lifepath is the one i want to play, but i have no knowledge whatsoever about cyberpunk lore etc.
and when reading descriptions it sounded like the other lifepaths are more suited to someone who doesnt know much about the world

what would you say?

I dont really want to look up lore because i fear getting spoilered about stuff i may could find out myself

It's a mainstream game, it will most likely explain everything you need to know.

I also have not read anything about the source material.

The closest I ever got to a setting like this was Alita: Battle Angel (minus the creepy giant eyes)

I just got a bit worried from some sides portraying it as "you start up high and wont get to know much from the 'lower class' and clans"

thank you, this sounds "nice" to me, now with all those comments i think i'll stick with corpo ^-^
