How do i get the REDLauncher for getting the digital rewards for preorder?

CDProjekt Red says you can login in REDLauncher using GOG account to get the pre-order rewards. I cannot find the REDLauncher download anywhere. Thoughts?

No You can buy on any platform for pre-order rewards.
Go here and select Steam as the platform.

I would suggest not to do so until the game as well as the awards are released just in case there are any technical issues early on which may prevent you from claiming them.

Whats the point? At some point it has to work so it doesn't matter if I'm getting the rewards directly or after a few days

Because if it is something that is redeemed upon the initial connection then any issues may result in the rewards not being able to be claimed until the devs have fixed it. I think most are patient enough to wait for the fix if there's an issue but for those who wish to increase their chance of a successful claim in the first try then it would be better to wait imo.

By the way OP, upon further reading, you don't have to use gogconnect to redeem the in game items. You just need to create a gog account and when you run the game, log into you gog account via the red launcher.

Instructions as per the official website:

After installing the game, log in to REDlauncher using your GOG account.

Launch Cyberpunk 2077 via REDlauncher and start playing. Your rewards will be waiting for you in the item stash located in V’s apartment.

Red launcher will only be available after you have installed the game. When you click play, a launcher(ie red launcher) will start up. That is where you have to log in with a gog account in order to redeem the items. Some games like those from paradox start a launcher first instead of the game. Naturally, you won't be able to do so in offline mode.

If that's the case, then it makes sense as i couldn't find REDLauncher anywhere.
