Steam version censorship in Japan.

Does anyone know which version of the game will be uncensored? Should I be getting GOG or GMG version since steam version will get censored on Japanese steam.

If the devs have to censor for your country then all stores(gog, steam and epic) will be selling a censored version for your country. If you want to avoid it then you will have to get a physical console copy from a country that does not have any censorship rules

How do you know that? Still they only mentioned censorship for PlayStation and Xbox version.
Even a Japanese gaming article posted, the PC version isn't censored by Cero. But no further information about it.

Censorship is based on content. If the law of a country dictates that certain types of content cannot be displayed to those living there, then it stands to reason that all copies being sold in the country (be it console or pc) will have to be censored. It makes little sense for them to censor only console but allow it for PC since the idea is for the "offending" content to not be displayed at all within the country. It's just like if a certain film is banned, you can't legally buy or display it in the country regardless of whether it is stored on dvd or as a mp4 clip on your hard drive.

i would think nudity be censored by auto engading the nudity censor option in menu settings.

Going out on a limb here but expect there to be a mod that removes censorship in a few weeks, if certain versions are censored.

You should buy it from GOG or GMG anyway since Steam takes a big bite of the revenue of the game, while GOG or GMG doesn't.

If you're going to buy it anywhere other than Steam to give more money to CDPR, then it should be exclusively on GOG since all of the money would go to CDPR/GOG. That being said CDPR has no problem with people buying it on Steam and doesn't have a problem with Steam's cut otherwise they wouldn't be selling it here.
