How does day one patch work?
Stupid question but i have never preodered game that had day one patch, so i have one question.
Day one patch means that even after download the whole preload size, i'm gonna still need to download another content rightly after releasing of the game? By saying "rightly", i mean that i won't even have time for playing game?

Its probably gonna drop very soon after the game releases or even possibly at release. Keep in mind we're also getting a 43 gigabyte patch but that's before launch. So whatever comes after more than likely won't be that big thus not mattering much in terms of having to wait for it to download.

Well, it could work in two ways:

(1) The Day One patch could be fully integrated into the preload itself (like in the case of Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Steam preload) meaning no additional downloads after preload/decryption is complete.

(2) And like you said, it could be a separate download from the preload package which in that case you will have to download the patch after preload/decryption is complete.

Fingers crossed it’s the first one :D

If you have pre-ordered the digital Steam, GOG or Epic store version for PC the pre-load should already be the version with the Day 1 patch so on release day it will be just the general unlocking of the game if I am not mistaken. The Day 1 patch should be mostly for the console physical copies of the game.

Yea, i really count that it's gonne be the first one. I can even download 100-150 gigabytes but i need a long amount of time, due to my slow internet.
That's why i decided to ask about it.
I'm so glad that we'll have at least two and half day for preload
