The 2500 only hits 3.7GHz with turbo though.
very true , with a tricked out bios on the right MB a few more doors open up :)
being a non k and hitting 3.7GHz to 4.1GHz will depend on the bios i think
Newer CPU's come with very high voltages for some reason. I had to lower my voltage and still got a pretty decent OC. I have an 8600k. Came with 1.3v stock (if I remember correctly), did 4.6 an all cores with 1.14v. I could do a lower 1.12v and pass the stress test, but there was just one game that would BSOD me at the exact same spot all the time.
Had this PC for almost three years. No crashes ever since and sub 50c temps during gaming.
Get a better computer or accept the fact that your hardware is outdated and that you will have to play with the settings to get 60 fps, and even then that isn't guaranteed.
I have the same exact AIO. It does its job and it does it well
