Will there be a pilot-able mech?

I know that the game is revolving around modifying your own body and having a mech is overkill or useless. But we've seen a mech in the trailer and I assume it's an automated mech. So is it possible that piloted mech exist in the game universe? If it does would you like have some of the mech included in the game? Whether on the base game or as a dlc.

There are legit, mech suits in the source material, that were CRAZY AWESOME though, my DM never let me near them, so yeah... they are a thing, though we might not be able to use em. O_O

-NVM i see it. I think thats just AI defense weaponry, but maybe it can be hacked and piloted

Lets hope that there's mech in the future, because it would be cool. Walking at rainy night inside your mech.

There are no mechs in CP. The closer they have are the Assisted Powered Combat Armors, basically an exoskeleton lined with armor plates, some minor life support systems, a few other electronics systems for combat (aiming, detection, etc.) and the capacity to carry some punch. But basically any weapon which could be a threat for a vehicle it's going to shred you into pieces.

Those "powered armors" are mechs, we aren't talking about Mecha's which are giant robotic gundams... we are talking about mechs, mechanoid suits of armor, that allow you to walk around, with a full body suit, that gives you enhanced abilities, which are indeed, in the CP universe.

Some are bigger than cars, but not Gundams, which would be the size of skyscrapers.

you are talking more like battle armor or hard shell power suits but yes if they do (( not watched trailer yet )) id like to be able to use it in some way i love mechas and other things with pilot-able suits of any kind both large and small so i wouldn't be displeased if i could access a few. in fact id be more than happy to have access to such but wont be disappointed if we don't.

The only one i have seen in game, is the in this picture.

(in the original PNP game, some are powered suits, which you fit into, and others are large enough that there is a cockpit. so some powered suits, and some mechs, but no mecha/gundams.)
