Steam release time UK

seeing a lot of mixed opinions on this, there's been quite a few times new games haven't released at midnight on steam, im on UK time btw, does anyone know if it is actually unlocking at midnight?

Yes because it's always the decision of the publisher/developer when the game releases, not Steam. Not every game releases at midnight, that's only a small minority of games which release at this time. However Cyberpunk is set to release at 12am GMT at midnight.

are you sure? because i've seen games release at mignight on other launchers but then 3 or 4 hours later on steam, ah it's whatever anyways as long as cyberpunk releases at midnight happy days

are you sure? because i've seen games release at mignight on other launchers but then 3 or 4 hours later on steam, ah it's whatever anyways as long as cyberpunk releases at midnight happy days

Yes the game is set to release worldwide at the same time on all platforms. Different games have different release times. Some games do worldwide releases at the same time. Some do it early in the day, some in the evening, some at midnight. Some release games by region so Asia gets it first. Some release games at different times on different platforms. However for Cyberpunk release time is the same on all platforms and in all regions.

The counter on CDPR's website, GOG. You can only see it if you preordered the game on their website though.

I found this out through Juicehead, who preordered the game on GOG.
