Release date for multiplayer?

I just googled it and it said that multiplayer wont release at least until 2022 so I was wondering if there are any updates whether its guaranteed it will be next year

Because they don't want to grind for a free expansion and don't want to pay 20$ for the expansion.
They are youtubers who just play the game as a free to player with duplications or cheating and have everything in the game, and the people that get banned by gta for getting money from cheaters get unmanned once the money is removed from their account lol

You forgot to mention their characters get wiped too dude

Nah it doesn't unless they willing went to the cheater, stand there, took all the money and than got caught lol, cheaters can teleport you to themselves but not hold you hostage lol just move on to the next lobby lol

I played the game on a 1070 and had almost no issues at all sure there were a few glitches but the game was far from unplayable

Yeah but you are not running the game on the same settings that they were showing the E3 40 minute showcase, at best you are on medium settings

Well being that all the time the could spare in the last year was to make a car x2 jackets a johnny skin I think its a safe bet that's been top priority besides working on expansion.

Yeah they are making it called gta 6 and as it stands, the most immersive open world game to the date is gta V. That's why there is 110k people playing gta V to this date while cyberscam 2077 has 11k player base atm, 1 game is 8 years old the other is 9 months old hahahha. 1 has sold 150 million copies the other has sold 13.7 million copies, 1 has made 17 billion in profit the other has made under half a billion $. Hell GTA V made 1 billion$ last year alone. There won't be a better game than gta ever in the same genre

Why are idiots comparing the player base between a game that's the 5th in a series with the benefit of lessons learned from past games and a game engine refined from past games to a game that's the first in its series(if it indeed has more games to follow who knows) with a engine that has not had close to the same amount of refinement.

I would think if this was cyberpunk 5 vs gta 5 then you might have something.

I see so since the star wars fallen order was the first game of the company we should not compare it to other games that are in the same genre? and if it fails to live up to those similar games we should be like oh its not the 3rd darksouls game so we should give em a pass? get real

If you fail to be on par with a game from 8 years ago, maybe you should stop making those games and stick to what you know. what a failure of a game that cant even be on par with a game that was made 8 years ago, and we are talking about what the biggest gaming company in Europe. shame

Mmm...I hope they don't bother with multiplayer...there's so many engine-related issues to address, notably environmental item interactions, etc. If they did multiplayer though, I imagine it'd be something like gang vs. gang, maybe a mode with the Basilisk? I'm surprised there isn't just a horde mode somewhere in this game.

To me, I believe they cancelled it. I also hope they did. I just want to see the singleplayer experience finally blossom.

Where they got money from to work on it probably doesn't matter. As a game can change in any way at any time.

Sounds like a headache to add. Like when people ask to play this in VR. Really really hard to expect that of CDPR while they're still working on the game in its current state. I want DLC with new story content.

Not to mention that sales of this game plummeted after a certain amount of time. As expected of a singleplayer game. Both word of mouth and news about the game discouraged many from trying it; on top of that.

Also I don't understand comparisons to GTA III because you can achieve certain things in games of that period that are harder to do today in a game of this visual fidelity.
