General romance/nudity/sex/etc. discussion
A merged thread for all such content. It seems to be a popular topic but there really isn't any need to have two dozen threads about it. Especially when many of them are basically the same.

Please remember to keep posts within the Steam Community Guidelines, and respect others' opinions.

Gta hasn't nudity in sex scenes, that's it.
Ministry Of Wrath 2020년 6월 16일 오후 1시 01분
seeing as I'm sure you can romance and BUY hookers in this game, it's fine to have both, romantic and tasteful for a partner, but if you're just trying to nutilla walnut spread, it's probably fine to have something a bit more raw, so long as it's not a sex simulator.

Gta style would be fine for paid workers vs romance in mass effect for a meaningful partner

as a cyberpunk game we need 3 boobed peoples and se*-bots , after that we can think about gameplay. lol
i can turn skyrim in a sex simulator with mods, this game will do magic too lol hahah, jokes aside the modding community will "fix" any bad part of the game, so i wont be all surprised with things like 3° person view, xxx, high level degeneration etc.

There is a thin line between nude sex scenes and cheap, fake pornography. It seems to me that games which focus on the explicit sex scenes ruin the suspension of disbelief with their tacky, gratuitous animations. Compare that to the romance arcs in Mass Effect 2 and 3, where you had to build up a relationship over many hours of game play, so that you actually felt an emotional connection with a character. At that point, just a touch from a hand, a certain look or a smile from a partner could evoke much more than a nude scene. The story is all. In Mass Effect 2, one of the the favourite romance options was an alien named Tali, and you didn't even get to see her face or body, just the contours of her shapely figure inside her tight space suit. Everything else is left to the imagination and benefits from it.
The problem here is the formulaic way Bioware implements the romance mechanism starting from Mass Effect 1 and then copies it to all its story driven RPG including the Dragon Age games, not to mention there will always be that preset group of romance targets. Is it better than having none? Sure, yet it doesn't necessarily mean the whole setup feels natural either. What's there to stop Shepard from looking for some side fun while docked on Omega? Or why Leliana is strictly off-limits even if she isn't already coupled with the Grey Warden in the first place? Does it have to be a long-term engagement and not simply a fling becuz of a change of heart? It's an RPG after all.

I think you're again defining how relationship specialists would separate the act of love making and 'just sex'...for a video game. Not saying you're wrong, but base on the world view and context of the CP2077 universe I really don't see a reason for both to not coexist under different circumstances. The choice is in the player's hands and it's certainly more desirable than being driven into a scripted scenario with all the usual expectations.

Add third boob would take tons of time to make and what for? CDPR did trasgender stuff instead. There should be "transgender poster" on internet.

I'm just concerned about the comparison with GTA V, because that's exactly what I don't want from a game like this. As long as there are far reaching consequences or potential consequences for ones actions that mirror real life, all will be good. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are old so if a Bioware relationship concept was used in 2077, I'd expect more extensive, complex trees and parameters (as opposed to renegade and paragon).

IIRC the nudity and sexual references in GTA5 are very mild comparing to the level of Witcher 3 and presumably CP2077. Base on the vanilla GTA5 without any weird mods people may have added to the game, the only female nudity during the whole campaign is that one time inside the strip club. If this amount of skin is enough to keep you awake at night, then I can guarantee that CP2077 will have your mind blown completely.

It's not the amount of "skin" it's the lack of impact or meaning anything has in that game.

I think it was cool go to stirpclub, hopefuily it stays in the series at least.

Cyberpunk should focus on night life stuff, instead of bowling, darts, comedy clubs, stripclubs, restaurants etc.

Go to place like striclub is actually more fun than having a sex-scene. I think its because player chooses to do so, it would be fun if there was options during sex-scenes, do you want to go for spanking or just flip the girl over.

This looks damn fun, gotta say I dont remember this, must have been DLC.

I’ll honestly be surprised if we don’t. CDPR has some great writers, I’m sure they’ll come up with compelling romance stories and whatnot.

Precisely. As I've mentioned earlier, it fits the world view and context of CP2077 and wouldn't have felt outta place the slightest.

I don't need this kinda stuff to get down onto too personal a level as it isn't softcore porn at the end of the day, but it's worth mentioning that Mass Effect 3 also has a PG-13 safe dumbed down session of pole dancing.
