Can we kill everyone in the game ?
As in real life, are there a limited number of virtual people in the game?
Can we empty the game of all its virtual people?

No. You cannot attack, let alone kill, children or story-related NPCs.

so we can just leave the kids and the PNJ missions alive and clear the map of everything else.

Can we kill the animals, I know there will be dogs and cats ? Can we buy some too ?

As far as I know no further information is available at the moment. So maybe, maybe not. Probably not, considering how it's done in the Witcher games.

Try releasing a game in current year where harming virtual children is allowed. You’re going to have a bad time.

No More Room In Hell has zombie children and they suffered a lot of blowback even back then in 2011.

But yeah, as per the usual with requests for additional stuff like Ciri, VR Support, etc. you’ll probably see this covered via mods as well.

Killing children, even in videogames, is a topic that always goes south fast at the tiniest hint of someone saying it should be a thing, So let's not. It won't be in the game, for very good reason. Period.

Kids and important NPCs are a given, but what about normal civilian NPCs, any word if you can commit violence to a massacring extent like GTA?

I would like to know this too. The only thing I can find is that linked article -- or the information in it, rather.

Well isn't that kinda obvious? You can kill Sasquatch, or let her live. Or for example, being able to kill Dexter Deshawn some way along the story(or side story), or that Stout, the corporate female dog. I dont have any articles in mind but I would assume these things are all obvious as from all the info we have gathered. Just like in 2018 gameplay, you dont have to kill Roy, or Dum Dum(i the latter guy a lot btw). You can find a peaceful resolution

It would be pretty silly to have most quest-related NPCs be completely invincible. Maybe at first, but along the certain questline I would imagine you can kill almost all of them.
Assumptions are not facts, and should not be presented as such.

I swear, there an article that talked about car jacking.
That the night city police won't care if you beat someone up, but will if you kill them.

Which makes me think this game will allow to be a bit more criminal and harm non-enemy npcs.

Yes absolutely, you can even have cops chasing you (with differences to regions of the city) and you can kill the cops too. However, it hasn't been confirmed yet as to what impact that could lead to, killing civilians or cops
Sweet. That would be nice for evil playthroughs. See what we could do with our newly installed cyberware. :D
