[DEVELOPER UPDATE] Gang feature: The Mox
Formed in 2076 after the death of Elizabeth “Lizzie” Borden, a strip club owner & ex-prostitute who treated her workers fairly and defended them from violent clients, The Mox refer to themselves as “those who protect working girls and guys” from violence and abuse.

Isn't this just plagiarising? Frank miller already did this in sin city with the "prostitute city." I guess originality isn't CDPR's strong point on top of game development lol.
Almost 100% sure the mox are from the original cyberpunk setting, so your just sorta wrong.

In the same sense that Uncharted is “just plagiarising” Tomb Raider or that Back 4 Blood is “just plagiarising” Left 4 Dead or that Mortal Shell is “just plagiarising” Dark Souls or that Ghost of Tsushima is “just plagiarising” Assassin’s Creed or that Forza is “just plagiarising” Gran Turismo or that....

If your definition of the term "plagiarism" simply means "[Author] did this earlier in [Franchise] back in [Year]" then the majority of newly released media including films, games, shows, books and et cetera can be labelled, albeit frivolously, as "plagiarised".

Lacking "creativity", "originality" or "inspiration" is one thing. Plagiarism is an entirely different matter.

The Mox are a new gang from the 2077 setting. I think more than anything so that some girls feel identified with their own cool band. Strong girls who break teeth.
It seems silly to me to talk about plagiarism for this concept when sex workers protecting each other is probably older than writing...

Maybe he never seen prostitutes in his life, nothing bad about it, not excuse for ignorance.
I was genuinely disappointed when I realized I couldn't align at least indirectly with the Mox. Even if it's simple, it can be rewarding in both gameplay and immersion. It'd be nice to have additional gigs from Lizzie's bar. Something like a bulletin board with randomly generated gigs that refresh over in-game time, increase standing, and unlock more clothing and weapons to buy. It could change how members react to you the more milestones you reach. idk how difficult this is to implement, but I know it's been done in other games without being too complicated a system to interact with. Even if what I listed was all it turned out to be, it would have been immensely satisfying. I was surprised that this wasn't part of the base game. Long live the Lizzie!

(I'm gonna be thinking about this all day...) The presence of Mox in their areas where they already have a significant presence would increase, while other gangs' would decrease, in accordance with the player's standing in that region of the city. I'm done, I promise. ;u;
