Ex-BioWare employees heavily involved in the development
A friend of mine told me yesterday that a lot of ex-BioWare employees who worked on Inquisition and Andromeda are heavily involved in this game's development, and showed me some articles to back it up. If this is true, then that's not a good sign. Inquisition and Andromeda are two games that ruined two great franchises.

This is very worrying, since I'm really starting to dislike western game developers working for major publishers. Not necessarily because they tend to impose their own idealistic view of what the world should be like, but because they make very mediocre games.

I'm also not impressed at all by the gameplay footage shown, they might "wow" the lowest common denominator who like their yearly dose of Assassin's Creed, but it hasn't impressed me. I'm very worried.

Soo...if I'm guessing by your word usage...you don't like that it looks...generic?

can you link said articles?

It doesn't matter who is working on it. The little guy living paycheck to paycheck is a number in the games industry. What matter is who are the dev leads and the man writing said paychecks. Andromeda and Inquisition were ruined by poor management and EA's executives poking their noses where they had no business poking them. The little guy working for months on how the sky should look had nothing to do with it.

Unless that 'guy' is part of the senior project management team, I doubt he has much say in the direction of the game.

after a little looking i think it might be just as it sounds. the only possible saving grace seems to be the "creating and optimizing technological solutions" part...

But!.. if they did work on andromeda then well....

It is not without reason, and considering bioware prepare to have a bunch of ugly companions too. They are like anti-beautiful companions since DA2, I believe they recruit SJWs as their staff if I remember it right.

Everyone is good looking in real life when they are at their best and yes your right alot of effort is being put into video games to make npcs look bad most likely to make couch potatos feel better?

That is probably one of the reason.

Thats a very large subject to do with conditioning and enviroment and budget and lots of things. How ever making bad behavior seem ok is cruel.

I could go into half a page reply about being into sports and construction at the most demanding levels and that i now struggle to stay in shape, but i wont.

Yeah to think couch potatoes need the game to represent themselves, and demand everyone else satisfy their need. It's selfish don't you think?

ME2 the best ME for me too, they hire Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda Lawson, she is beautiful.

It just fair I warned you guys about bioware, they go full SJW mode since DA2.
CDPR is nothing like bioware and bioware seems to influence/ changed Cyberpunk a lot.

I don't have any problem with ME3 endings, still don't get what the problem is. Probably because it leave possibility for sequel or don't have a truly happy ending?

You spotted that well, I should've highlighted or mentioned that part. My bad.

Having said that, after the debacle that was Andromeda from a technical viewpoint, this isn't very comforting either.
