This is fairly normal for any game pre-release. Things take a 180 very quickly once a game is out. The trolls go find some other game to focus on.:ggmaya:

Yeah that mission in the gameplay demo where the game literally forces you into same sex is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right Biff? Piss off you lowly educated maroon.

I don't see a reason to be upset about the sex choice no longer being a choice. You can still be a woman or man or a mix up of the two if I understand it right. That makes sense when everybody has implants and other stuff going on with their bodies.

They didn't, though. Not at all. You can say they were pandering and probably be right, but you can't say you're unable to play as male or female.

As to the 3rd person perspective, the game was ALWAYS intended to be FPP, cdpr never even hinted anything differently. And the cutscenes... Come on, these are CUTSCENES. Cutsenes are flavor. They help drive the story. They are not an integral game mechanic, yet people are claiming that first person cut scenes turn the game into a generic shooter, which is absolutely ridiculous. They could just say "I prefer 3rd person" but no they're gonna "cancel their preorder."

Unhappy with the 3rd person cutscenes removed? Understandable. But on the deep dive video it was shown that it was on a poor preformance accidently I have heard. But now you have the whole "gender" controversy which is stupid. Loads of misinformation being spreaded by outraged people, just fake outrage. Saying that gender was removed completely which is not true, the character creation in the game is inspired by Saints row and people did not complain about that game. I just find it silly how people are making a big deal about CDPR adding something that we see back in Saints Row. Also I would like to go on but these videos will explain the rest.

To cut a long story short, a bunch of ignorant ♥♥♥♥♥ that probably had no intention of playing the game got really angry after 'discovering' things about it that were quite likely always planned, but never announced until now. For instance, there was nothing anywhere that suggested that TPP cutscenes were removed from the game. In fact, people that saw this year's demo said that nothing changed on that front. Then there's the whole 'gender' thing... Jesus Christ... They're making it out like CDPR and the Sierra Juliet Whiskeys conspired to make the game some... actually, come to think of it, I don't even know what they thought, because it's so stupid that it isn't even worth thinking about it. These people ignore the anti-capitalist and socially progressive views expressed through the cyberpunk genre. Even funnier is the fact these same chuds are fans of The Witcher 3, a game which basically shouted through a megaphone "RACISM IS BAD" "SEXISM IS BAD" "TOTALITARIANISM IS BAD!" "RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM IS BAD", as did the novels it was based on.

TLDR: It's business as usual in the Steam forums

Third person cut scenes are still in the game.

Exactly. Didn't some of the members of the press that saw the full demo confirm this?

Yeah, it was on twitter that you'd see your character in cut scenes occasionally.

"That said, players will still be able to see their characters in the inventory screen, during driving sequences, in mirrors and, very occasionally, in some of the cut-scenes."

Bloody hell... it's almost like people want to be outraged for no reason.

Well, Mr. Prime Minister, it's really that they just don't know.

Not everyone follows closely to developers for every snippet of information that comes by. So when they see their favorite game is under fire they get upset and take to the streets (the streets being Steam forums in this case) without doing any leg work.

It was also literally shown in the demo that anyone can watch for themselves. Which I suppose they do, I guess they just figure the devs will cut those scenes out because outrage.

It would be funny if CDPR actually did cut stuff from the game out of pure spite, or changed things for TEH LULZ.

"Oh, you want a third-person camera? The game is going to be locked into a top-down perspective, and you'll only be able to see in a three metre radius around your character! Enjoy your third-person camera now, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!"

"You don't like the non-binary gender character creator? We've changed that so you can only play as a textureless crash test dummy 'voiced' by Microsoft Sam. Why? ♥♥♥♥ you, is why"

"You like Keanu Reeves? Well, ♥♥♥♥ you! He isn't in the game anymore! We've replaced him with Jacob Rees-Mogg, who will follow you around the gameworld and remind you what a pathetic, low-class peasant you are, while spouting his retrograde political views with as much glee as he can muster! He's breathtaking!"

"Do you want an enjoyable, well-optimised game that can run on any PC with no problems? Tough ♥♥♥♥, buddy; we've switched to the Creation Engine! Thanks to the Romanian slaves we 'hired' to code, the game is only delayed to Q2, 2024! Why? Because we're CDPR, and we can do whatever we want!"

Outrage culture, trolls and general stupidity.

I dont think so. If i had pre ordered i would have cancelled when it was shown its a same sex game.

The situation has changed again though. Now there are those defending that it is a same sex game and yet saying it isnt.

What's a 'same-sex' game? This game doesn't strike me as being particularly gay.
