I dont think hacking a robot or bench press to take out 1 guy in a room full of guys is easy mode or op. Its just an entertaining gimmick bonus for having high hacking skills. Where its really going to shine is completing objectives using hacking rather than brute force or charisma.

I can agree with that, but i think we have a very limited look at it presently. Right now it looks very much like the Sneak + Archery combo in the Elder Scrolls series. Is it OP? Yup. Does that make it any less fun or satisfying? Nope.

However; The ability to explode the a guy, and cause other people to get blown to bits in the wake of said explosion, is definitely gonna be op/easy mode. (towards the end of our vid we highlight that clip)

Maybe the game will be designed in such a way that you can't rely on one or two hacking skills throughout; or some enemies may be harder to hack successfully.

You could 100% be right! I know I definitely wanna combo melee/h2h combat with hacking! Lemme take human shields all day!

It's too soon to tell, but I figure any focused build could be OP in some situations while sacrificing something in others. There is correlation between stat level and skills based on that stat, so it's possible that boosting the skills required to be an unstoppable chest-bursting hacker means being a frail wisp who can't take a punch. Or maybe can't drive, or don't know which end of a gun is forward.

Yup. From just the stat distribution of the deep dive video, I can see you being, at minimum, on the right track.

Just like in Watchdogs, hacking can only take you so far, but eventually you either get discovered and swarmed, or there are enemies that are not in range of any of the hackable things, so you need to sneak around and try to take them out by actually shooting or physically taking them down.

Other mini games would be cool

I think Tuesday we’re gonna do another video, and discuss the hype around the game. Thanks for watching this though, everyone!
