Yep. just played through the first 3 levels. had to play with the settings, but i got it to run at 24fps on a handheld.

Yeah, it's RDNA2, and linux has raytracing support. The optimization is not on par with windows, but it's not like APUs have enough shaders to run this well either. It's a good proof of concept though, showing that there's no big difference between windows on a desktop.

It can run even without the latest SteamOS beta, you just need to add
+set vid_rtx 0
to launch parameters. The benefit of running this with OpenGL instead of the original is that you can turn on high-resolution textures. So, even without raytracing, this can look better than the original.

It's possible to run the full game too with this, just have to use Proton because the Linux version seems to have the installer broken.

I have a problem when in the game settings I activate the rtx, I get a message that says: "Could not find a suitable Vulkan family!
Does anyone know how to fix it?

i'm gonna beat the game on my steam deck. I'm at unit 5 already.
